Yes. Moissanite is a gemstone made of silicon carbide, first found in a meteor crater in 1893. Every moissanite in jewelry today is lab-grown. It is not a diamond and we never call it one. It is its own stone, with more fire than a diamond.
Will it pass a diamond tester?
Standard thermal testers read moissanite as diamond because both carry heat the same way. Multi-testers that also measure electrical conductivity can tell them apart.
Is the silver real?
